With our first match scheduled for June 21st, here are the details for how we will return to Graystone Tavern amid City of Chicago COVID guidelines and reduced capacity.
1) Attendance will be limited to MEMBERS ONLY. You must show proof of entry upon being seated using the 5th Stand app on your mobile device. We do not have the capacity to accommodate any opposition supporters or non-members under any circumstances. (Instructions on membership are in the below comments.)
2) Reservations: matches will require a pre-paid reservation of $25 using the ChelseaChicago.com store. This $25 credit will be applied towards your final bill. Credits are non-refundable for cancellations. If you cancel / no-show, we will assume that you are sick and then for COVID safety, will be unable to attend Graystone for the next 14 days while you self-quarantine.
You can reserve a table and pay in advance for multiple people. In the Chelsea Chicago store, please select the appropriate quantity, and add all names in your party to the PayPal notes. You may also select a preference on where you would like to sit (backdoor patio or front window tables. (Instructions are below.)
We will hold your table until 15 minutes prior to kickoff, at which point we will offer it to any walk-ins.
3) Walk-Ins: We anticipate almost no availability for those without reservations on weekends, and perhaps only 15-20 spaces for weekdays. We will update you all through social media the night before the match on an estimated number of seats available, and again before kickoff should/when we hit full capacity.
4) Behavior: In compliance with Phase 3 regulations, we cannot congregate at the bar, stand in open areas, or use the inside tables away from the window. Everyone MUST have a seat and guidelines on masks, numbers of groups and masks must be followed. Markers are placed indicating appropriate distance for the bathroom line. We will be reducing our singing as to void spreading germs and encourage all to use hand sanitizer located throughout the bar.
We will modify these regulations as needed, hopefully with the good news we are moving to Phase 4 and can allow more members into the bar for matches. We are also looking at utilizing the Rambler for larger gatherings as well.
We hate to put these regulations in place, but it is necessary to ensure that we can serve our members and still adhere to City of Chicago COVID regulations. Please contact us with any questions.
